Hello everyone and greetings and good wishes from your Executive Council. We hope you and your families are all keeping well.
We have been encouraged to see how productive and pro-active you have been at this time, however, we cannot disregard our rules and we must serve the whole of our large membership and not just the few who have been able to embrace technology.
If you wish to run an on-line workshop/lecture/class, you must first contact the teacher of the dancers who wish to attend and get their permission in writing before they attend any of your events.
Child Protection Awareness
We would remind you that no ADFP professional should have any contact with a minor who is not registered to their school. No video sharing should occur and no lecturer should be able to interact with any participants from any of their events.
Rule 45 Guest Teaching
This rule is in place and will include on-line open classes in addition to a specific school.
45a) will include the lecturer and any other professional from the same school being unable to adjudicate at any events where the schools they have taught are competing for a period of 12 months from the resumption of competitions.
Finally please remember all guest teaching must be reported to the office within 7 days.
All of this will apply with immediate effect.
FACEBOOK AND SOCIAL MEDIA SITES
As set out in our constitution and Professional Guidelines, please refrain from making any derogatory comments about the ADFP, fellow professionals or dancers etc as this will be deemed to be bringing the ADFP disrepute.
DOWNGRADES AT BIRTHDAY
Please continue to send these to the General Office in the normal way for us to action.
Stay safe, stay healthy, keep positive. If all goes to plan we could be reopening our schools in the not too distant future.
We will keep you up to date with any further information that we receive.
